Jewelry Model Making
The resin output from the CAM process is transformed into a Gold model during casting. This Gold model serves as a replica of the master design, from which multiple jewelry pieces with similar designs are produced.
Jewelry Rubber Mould
An essential step in the manufacturing process is creating rubber molds. These molds allow for the efficient production of multiple jewelry pieces with the same design, ensuring consistency and precision across all items.
Waxing/Wax Tree
Waxing is a crucial step in the manufacturing process, where wax replicas of the jewelry design are created. These wax models are arranged on a central wax tree, enabling the production of multiple pieces with the same design.
Jewelry Casting
Casting is a highly intricate process that demands the expertise of skilled and experienced casters to achieve the desired results. The wax tree is placed into a steel flask and covered with a slurry made from chemical powder. After about an hour, the slurry hardens, setting the stage for the next steps in production.
Jewelry Grinding
After removing the raw casting from the tree, a small nub remains where the gold piece was attached to the sprue. This nub, which serves as an abrasive to smooth the surface, is carefully removed by the polisher using a motorized grinding machine, ensuring a smooth and refined finish on the jewelry piece.
Jewelry Filling
Using specialized tools, the jewelry is meticulously filled to achieve the desired shape and finish, ensuring precision and refinement in the final product.
